Candied Yams

Ginny Dow

2 cans yams
2 heaping spoonfuls brown sugar
1 stick butter/margarine
Marshmallows
1/2 c. pecans

Melt butter in a cast iron skillet over low heat. Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved. Add pecans and yams and cook until heated through. Add marshmallows during the last ten minutes. Serve warm.
